Hello, my name is Chris
Whether you’re exploring therapy for the first time or searching for a new therapist, I’m glad you’re here!

Therapy can be intimidating!

I specialize in issues related to Neurodiversity, managing ADHD, Anxiety, Sexual Trauma, Teen Therapy, grief, poly, ADHD and Autism in Relationships and Pre-marital Counseling.

In our sessions, you are the expert. You have different lived experiences, attachments, skills, talents, and understand the best learning styles for you — My goal in our time together is to understand the systems that are affecting your life in a supportive, non-judgmental environment, and untangle how we can create change in our relationships and behaviors.

I earned my M.S. in Counseling and Mental Health Services and my M.Phil.Ed. in Professional Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania in 2023, where I focused on social justice and psychodynamic theory. My clinical experience spans Community Mental Health, Forensic, and Behavioral Health settings.
See below for more about me, my education, and training and feel free to contact me with any questions!

(More) About Me
My therapeutic style embraces the absurd wonders of life and its indeterminacy. Humor and awkwardness are natural parts of my style. I value authenticity, and that often means welcoming awkwardness, laughter, and the unexpected into our sessions!

More personally, I enjoy experiencing nature, hiking, Brazilian jiu jitsu, and reading (non-fiction, fantasy, manga, and sci-fi — I am a bit of a nerd). I will talk non stop about collecting fountain pens, magic the gathering cards, and vinyl records. I can’t help smiling uncontrollably and laughing in loud bursts when with friends.

My practice is also heavily influenced by my upbringing as a first-gen college student and my experiences in a large Puerto Rican family.
Current sessions are being conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform for my telehealth practice.

In-person sessions will be available starting December.
